By accepting the terms of use for the public Wi-Fi network, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this access policy.
Objective:
The purpose of this policy is to outline the rules and guidelines for accessing and using the Wi-Fi network provided by the property owner, to ensure security, privacy, and an optimal user experience for all users.
Availability:
The public Wi-Fi network is available to all tenants of the building. However, access may be limited during times of high demand or for maintenance or security reasons.
Acceptable Use:
Users must comply with local laws and regulations, as well as the property’s policies regarding the appropriate use of the public Wi-Fi network. Any illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activities are strictly prohibited.
Authentication:
Users must authenticate using a username and password provided by the property owner to access the building’s Wi-Fi network. Authentication credentials must not be shared with third parties and must be kept confidential.
User Responsibility:
Users are responsible for all activities conducted from their user account. They must take appropriate measures to secure their devices and protect their personal information while using the building’s Wi-Fi network.
Security:
Smart Building US implements security measures to protect the Wi-Fi network against intrusions, viruses, and other threats. However, users are advised to keep their devices updated with the latest security patches and use antivirus software to ensure additional protection.
Liability:
Although security measures are in place, Smart Building US cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the public Wi-Fi network. Users are therefore encouraged to avoid transmitting sensitive or confidential information while using the network.
Policy Changes:
Smart Building US reserves the right to modify this Wi-Fi access policy at any time. Users will be required to accept the updated policy before they can continue using the network.
